Shirting fabrics of cotton, woven, and of three- or four-thread twill including broken or cross twill weaves are classified here. This code covers plain or yarn-dyed shirting qualities where the warp yarns are uniformly coloured and the weft is unbleached, bleached, dyed, grey or in a lighter shade of the warp colour. Export is freely allowed from India without any licence or restriction.
