This code covers petroleum coke used solely as feedstock or raw material for manufacturing graphite anode material in lithium-ion batteries, excluding any use as fuel or for trade. The sulphur content must remain below 0.8 percent, subject to monitoring by State Pollution Control Boards or the Central Pollution Control Board. Petroleum coke under this heading is freely exportable from India without a license.
