This code covers cheese not specified elsewhere in heading 04.06, including soft, hard, and semi-hard varieties that meet the heading’s composition rules. It applies to products that are moulded or capable of being moulded with a milkfat content of at least 5% and a dry matter content between 70% and 85%. Such cheeses may be freely exported from India without any license or permit.
